Japan’s message to Russia amid Ukraine war; Kishida mulls joining NATO summit

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida is considering to attend the next NATO summit scheduled to be held in Madrid from June 29-30. According to Kyodo new report, Kishida will take a final decision after taking into account the political situation before the upper house elections. Kishida will become the first Japanese PM ever to attend the NATO summit if he decides to go. This will reportedly also send a strong message to Russia amid its invasion of Ukraine.
