Sanae Takaichi (高市 早苗, Takaichi Sanae, nació el 7 de marzo de 1961) es una política japonesa conservadora. 高市早苗（1961年3月7日－），日本女性政治人物，為自民黨黨員。出身於奈良縣奈良市。共當選7屆眾議院議員。前夫山本拓也是眾議院議員。

2005 schloss sich Makoto Taki aus dem Wahlkreis Nara 2 den „Rebellen“ gegen die von Jun’ichirō Koizumi betriebene Postprivatisierung an. Bei der resultierenden „Postprivatisierungswahl“ 2005 wurde Takaichi Koizumis „Attentäter-Kandidatin“ im Wahlkreis 2 und gewann. Sie unterlag Taki 2009 knapp, gewann aber einen Verhältniswahlsitz im Block Kinki, 2012 setzte sie sich wieder im Wahlkreis durch. Koizumis Nachfolger Shinzō Abe berief Takaichi 2006 erstmals in ein Kabinett, in dessen ersten Regierung war sie bis 2007 Ministerin beim Kabinettsamt für besondere Aufgaben: Okinawa und die „Nördlichen Territorien“ (Südkurilen), Wissenschafts- und Technologiepolitik, Innovation, Geburtenrückgang, Geschlechtergleichstellung und Lebensmittelsicherheit. Von 2008 bis 2009 war sie erneut „Vizeministerin“ im Wirtschaftsministerium.
2012 übernahm Abe ein zweites Mal den Parteivorsitz, nach der siegreichen Unterhauswahl 2012 berief er Takaichi als PARC-Vorsitzende in den engsten Kreis der Parteiführung – wenngleich der PARC nicht mehr die zentrale Stellung früherer Jahrzehnte bei der Politikformulierung einnimmt und zuletzt teilweise durch externe Berater verdrängt wurde. Bei einer Kabinettsumbildung im September 2014 wechselte sie als Ministerin für Allgemeine Angelegenheiten ins Kabinett und wurde 2017 von Seiko Noda abgelöst. Ab 2019 übte Takaichi diesen Posten im zum weiten Mal umgebildeten vierten Kabinett Abe bis zu Abes Rücktritt im September 2020 erneut aus.
